Can a lemon pie photo really expose a miracle?

Description: Close-up of a lemon meringue pie

Angels we have heard on pie...

Pie? Aren't those the words to the traditional Christmas carol, "Angels we have heard on high, sweetly singing o'er the plains"?
Yes. But, in this case the angel just happened to be sweetly singing within the meringue of a mini pie called a lemon tart.

It was like one of many days in the studio. I stared out inspired to capture a beautiful culinary image of a lemon tart for a kitchen decor project. That's right, a simple, sweet lemon tart covered in swirls and waves of meringue. How hard could that be? Simple, as long as I kept my sweet tooth under control. I proceeded with the initial stages of the photo shoot and once I was satisfied with what I had captured, I proceeded to review and conclude which would be my final photograph. I scrolled along intently looking for one that captured the 'wow' factor us artists live for.

It wasn't obvious at first, but as I carried on with my task, one particular image kept poking at my intuition and calling me back to look at it. I stared at it puzzled and wondered why I was drawn to it since there was a minor technical hiccup (see below for the significance of this).

But then, there it was... could it be? Noooo. Impossible. Excited, I wanted to confirm what I saw, so I quickly duplicated this image, flipped the second piece horizontally, and carefully aligned the edges. Lo and behold, there it was – an angel. A heavenly angel with a cute little face in the shape of a heart. At first I thought my eyes were deceiving me, so I printed it and ask the first person who would give me an honest opinion, "What do you see?" The reply was, "An angel – cool." Cool indeed.

To be honest, this happened months ago, but I felt so attached to this treasure, that I've had a difficult time releasing it for all to see. However, the Christmas holidays are about believing and giving in the spirit of a miracle that happened over 2000 years ago, and if this is indeed a miracle, then far be it from me to prevent it from being shared as an inspirational gift to all today.

P.S. That significant part I was telling you about, is directly above the angel's head. Now normally it's not good when a photographer see the colour purple fringing the lines of an object, but I wasn't about to touch the only area it appeared over for two reasons: one, I hadn't tampered with the 'details' of this image in order to create it thus far, so it needed to be left alone; two, and far be it from me to put ideas into your head, but I find it conceivable to see the iconic likeness of these markings to resemble Jesus of Nazareth, the central figure of the Christian faith. And to add to the wonderment of it all, my understanding of a 'purple aura' means royalty or a spiritual leader, so now I really wasn't about to touch this. Coincidence? Don't take my word about auras, do your own research and come to your own conclusion.
